How can i start a SwipeNavigationFragment by button ? because to start a activity i start with "startActivity(intent)"...

I feel very disappointed in this site. We have developed a lot of well-designed Holo-compliant apps such as: Anime Alarm Clock, Morning Bird Alarm Clock and Global Tipping Guide. I have alerted the admin like 5 times in total about our apps and request reviews but our apps have never been mentioned or featured. If you are going to let people know more about well-designed apps, at least be fair about it. More popular apps are featured here than not-so-well-known apps and it's bad for the users and the new developers in general. Users miss out on great apps and developers don't get noticed. Hope that the site owner will start changing the way they handle things soon.

Hi all

UPDATE:

I have eventually (7 months later) implemented a Holo look in 3G Watchdog Pro 1.19.2. It is rather closely based on Ricardo Monteiro's mock up shown in this page, thanks for his work.

It turned out to be no that easy to implement, as it involved not only visual changes but only some significant modifications in the code (I used the ActionBarSherlock library by the way). The reception was also mixed, but most criticisms came - not surprisingly - from existing users that liked the old design and were used to it (yes they exist!). I also received compliments. I guess this is the fate of all attempts to change something ;)

Overall I think this is a good idea to have moved to the Holo design because it makes the program up to date, ready for the future, and more consistent in term of ergonomics with Android's current standards.

I have themed the new design, which makes it far easier to add new looks to the app. However I restricted what could be themed to colors and some background drawables, in order to minimize the risk of screwing the layout.

Currently there are 2 themes: "light" (mostly Ricardo's design) and a "dark"er version for people used to the former black design or people using some devices on which the light theme is ... too light, therefore difficult to read.
